Breathtaking views from each room's hammock. Ideal for sunset watching in a peaceful setting.
Rooms can be quite far from the dining area and pool, with a steep incline to navigate. Accessing the hotel requires a 4x4 due to road conditions and some guests may struggle with luggage up the hill. The bed quality leaves something to be desired, as some reported feeling the springs and needing additional padding.

We stayed for 5 nights and loved the amazing view from our room. The AC made it comfortable during hot days. Javi was super helpful and even suggested great local spots. The breakfast was fine too! Definitely a nice experience!

Staying at Hotel Buenos Aires was incredible. The outdoor area around our room felt super chill, with beautiful ocean views every morning and evening. The hammock out front was my favorite spot for relaxation. Javi, the host, was incredibly helpful and gave great recommendations for food. The pool area was a perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach. I really liked having a fridge in the room to keep our drinks cool, especially since the heat was intense. Though accessing the hotel involved a steep climb, it was convenient to reach Playa Carmen and nearby surfboard rentals. Breakfast enjoyed on the terrace while taking in the view made mornings delightful. A couple of times, the service at breakfast was a bit slow, and I wished for more variety on the menu. This hotel provided a truly memorable stay, but a bit more attention to breakfast service would enhance the experience further.

the view was nice, but my room was under the staircase, hello? I expected a proper upgrade after all my emails! those slivers of ocean didn’t quite cut it. also, who can walk up those stairs lugging bags? I could’ve given a higher rating, but just couldn’t overlook these issues.

The views were just jaw-droppin’, sittin’ in that hammock watchin’ the sunset was like a postcard come to life. Javi was a gem, always checkin’ on me, and that breakfast at the restaurant? Oh man, the fresh fruit was somethin’ else! Ope, just a coupla steps up that hill took some effort – but boy did the view make it worth every bit!

The walk up the hill was a bit steeper than I imagined, but honestly, the views totally made it worth it.

Had an awesome time with friends! The outdoor area was perfect for relaxing, and we enjoyed cards with music while catching that stunning sunset. Javi was super accommodating, and the breakfast was such a treat! Check out the local spots he recommends, and the dining options within walking distance are great too.
One night we wanted to grab dinner at the restaurant, but it was closed unexpectedly. It was a little frustrating since it was our only option on-site.
